Dana is pleased to announce the appointment of Hybrid e-Controls of São José dos Campos as Distributor for its OpenECU™ technology in Brazil. Hybrid e-Controls manufacture Diagnostic and Service tools for diesel engine customers, and have a strong capability in engine development and vehicle systems engineering. Located in the heart of the Brazilian automotive industry research base, Hybrid e-Controls is ideally placed to represent Dana’s products and services in that market.

Brazil currently is the 4th largest automotive market in the world and its local companies are engaged in an increasing amount of development activities optimally supported by the OpenECU platform. “We are currently in discussions with multiple Brazilian OEMs interested in using Dana’s OpenECU for their alternative fuel systems development programs.
