Dana is exhibiting its latest hardware and software embedded electronic controls systems solutions. Dana provides prototype and production custom electronics (ECUs) for the development of embedded control systems for markets such as automotive where reliability and functional safety are highly valued. OpenECU® is our family of customizable rapid control prototyping ECUs and software suitable for prototypes, fleet trials and low to medium volume production which is ideal for both rapid controls prototyping and low to medium volume production, for all aspects of vehicle control. The MATLAB/Simulink compatible software development toolchain makes it particularly easy to implement complex model-based controls. For example, ISO 26262 compliant (up to ASIL-D) EV supervisory control applications can be implemented quickly for 12V and 24V systems using the M560/M580 OpenECU controllers.
Dana also has electric propulsion system control strategies and a range of rapid controls prototyping and production controllers. Dana also designs and supplies fully custom electronic controllers (ECUs) to the specific requirements of our customers.
