Join Dana’s senior hardware design engineer, Gordan Jurasek, as he presents on October 21st:
12:35 – Challenges in Designing a Generic ECU
ECU development is a complex multidisciplinary endeavor that offers many areas for trade-off and compromise. This presentation covers lessons learned designing an ECU for use in a broad range of production and prototyping applications. Dana recently launched the M670 to provide rapid prototyping and low-volume production engine control for PFI, GDI and CRD applications. The design of the M670 was targeted at supporting R&D groups and established niche productions. The struggle meeting the needs of advanced engine technology development and low-cost production will be discussed, with a review of selected key circuits and their impact on the overall ECU design.
Dana will be at booth E148 on the Engine Expo side of the exhibit hall.
